Job summary

Precision Medicine Group in the United States is seeking an experienced leader to direct and oversee multiple clinical study projects. You will partner with project teams to ensure quality, scope, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved on a global platform.

You will manage senior project leaders, interact with sponsors, and support business development in proposals and budgeting. A strong background in clinical research, GCP/ICH, and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science/health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in clinical research with project management and line management experience.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH and clinical development processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage and ensure collaboration within Project Directors and Project Managers across global projects.
• Provide leadership and oversight on clinical programs; manage activities in some cases.
• Interact with study sponsors as primary escalation point beyond PM.
• Optimize profitability of the Project Management organization to meet budget targets.
• Assess and manage resource allocations to meet cost, time and quality goals.
• Train, develop and manage performance of senior project leaders.
• Provide guidance on scope, risks, resource planning, and deliverables to project managers.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements; maintain high quality standards.
• Participate with Business Development in proposals, budgeting and bid defenses.
• Understand inter-dependencies to achieve milestones; manage changes and recover at-risk projects.
• Measure KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
