Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a senior program leader to develop partnership strategies for clinical trials and guide cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.

You will direct Project Directors and Project Managers, interact with sponsors, optimize profitability, manage resources and risk, mentor leaders, and ensure compliance with GCP/ICH and SOPs across a global portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in clinical research including project management and line management.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Direct, manage and ensure collaboration within a team of Project Directors and Project Managers on a global platform.
• Provide leadership and oversight on all clinical programs and in some cases manage activities.
• Interact with study sponsors as the primary escalation point beyond project management.
• Optimize profitability of the Project Management organization to meet or exceed budgets.
• Assess and manage resource allocations to meet cost, time and quality goals.
• Select, train, develop and manage performance of talent in project leadership positions.
• Provide technical support and guidance on scope, risk, escalation and mitigation to project managers.
• Ensure personnel work to the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
