Wiley seeks a senior product leader for Applied Research Intelligence (ARI) to own the outward-facing product strategy and drive partnerships with pharma/biotech clients. Reporting to the VP of Product, ARI offers autonomy and opportunities to scale the product team, with senior-level customer engagement and industry leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate R&D in pharma/biotech/life sciences.
• Track record generating insight from scientific literature and data across the R&D value chain.
• 10+ years in senior product, data-science, or scientific-innovation leadership roles.
• Hands-on GenAI/RAG implementations in scientific contexts; production tools.
• Strong understanding of R&D scientists and their buyers; credible with C-suite.
• Cross-functional integrator connecting R&D, IT, and commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Own ARI's outward-facing product strategy and value proposition.
• Lead the partnership and integration ecosystem.
• Drive early customer wins and adoption with sales and services.
• Be the voice of the corporate R&D customer and translate insights into roadmap directions.
• Shape commercial pipeline and strategic partnerships for premium positioning.
• Represent ARI externally with authority at conferences and with customers.
• Build and scale the product function as the business grows.
