Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Director of Product for Applied Research Intelligence (ARI). You will lead the outward-facing product strategy for ARI, collaborating with R&D customers, partnerships, and engineering to shape a market-leading intelligence platform.

You will translate deep understanding of R&D scientists into product direction, drive partnerships, and guide a scalable product function while representing ARI externally at conferences and with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate R&D within pharma/biotech/life sciences with a product mindset.
• Proven track record turning scientific literature into intelligence for decision making.
• 10+ years in senior product, data-science, or scientific-innovation leadership roles with hands-on delivery.
• Hands-on experience implementing GenAI/RAG in scientific contexts with knowledge graphs and API integrations.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate insights into product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own ARI's outward-facing product strategy and value proposition across pharma, biotech, life-sciences, and materials R&D.
• Lead the partnership and integration ecosystem with external vendors and technology partners.
• Drive early customer wins and adoption, building repeatable land-and-expand motions.
• Be the voice of the corporate R&D customer, translating workflows into product priorities and roadmap.
