Job summary

Vasion is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A in Utah to lead the financial planning, forecasting, and long-range model development. This hands-on leader partners with Sales, Marketing, Product, and R&D to translate SaaS performance into clear insights for executives, the Board, and investors.

You will build and mentor a high-performing FP&A team, drive planning tooling and reporting automation, and play a pivotal role in strategic M&A and capital allocation decisions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years leading FP&A teams.
• Deep SaaS knowledge with ARR, retention, churn and bookings insights.
• Experience preparing Board/investor reporting; PE-backed environment preferred.
• Hands-on M&A modeling and diligence experience, incl. integration planning.
• Expert financial modeling skills and proficiency with ERP, CRM (Salesforce) and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, and multi-year long-range plan.
• Develop and maintain SaaS metrics and ARR modeling; ensure single source of truth.
• Prepare Board materials and investor reporting; craft the financial narrative.
• Partner with functional leaders; provide variance analysis and pricing insights.
• Lead M&A modeling, diligence, and post-close integration tracking.
• Hire, develop, and lead FP&A team; drive automation across planning tools.
• Drive close collaboration with Accounting on revenue recognition and forecast-to-actuals.
