About Vasion

For more than a decade, Vasion has been helping companies simplify their print infrastructure, automate business processes, and integrate their technology in a more secure environment. Our mission, to make digital transformation attainable for everyone, drives a culture of innovation and exploration. We have one simple goal: help organizations simplify processes through automation and integration.

So we created simple, cost-effective, and easy-to-implement digital tools that work together, removing bottlenecks and improving efficiency. And we’re always on the lookout for new people who can help us innovate, grow, and reach our goal.

Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Lehi or St. George, Utah areas.

About The Role

Vasion is looking for a Senior Director of FP&A to lead our financial planning and analysis function and serve as the CFO's key partner in steering the business. This leader owns the company's operating plan, forecast, and long-range model, and translates SaaS performance data into clear insight for executives, the Board, and investors. You will lead a team of finance professionals, partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and R&D leaders, and play a central role in strategic initiatives including M&A evaluation and integration planning. This is a high-visibility role for a hands‑on strategic finance leader who is equally comfortable building a model and presenting to a Board.

What You'll Do
  • Planning & Forecasting: Own the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts, and multi-year long-range plan. Run a disciplined, repeatable planning calendar and drive accountability to plan across the business.
  • SaaS Metrics & ARR Modeling: Build and maintain the company's ARR, bookings, billings, retention, and churn models. Own the definitions and reporting of key SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC, LTV, payback, Rule of 40) and ensure a single source of truth.
  • Board, Investor & Sponsor Reporting: Prepare Board materials, monthly and quarterly management reporting, and investor/sponsor and lender packages, including covenant and KPI tracking. Craft the financial narrative with the CFO.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to functional leaders. Provide variance analysis, headcount and spend planning, pricing and packaging analysis, and go-to-market capacity and productivity insight to support decisions.
  • M&A & Strategic Modeling: Lead financial modeling for acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments, including valuation, synergy analysis, diligence support, and post-close integration tracking.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, develop, and lead a team of FP&A managers and analysts. Set a high bar for analytical rigor, accuracy, and executive-ready communication.
  • Systems & Process: Drive improvements to planning tools, data pipelines, and reporting automation across the ERP, CRM, billing, and planning platforms. Partner with Accounting on close, revenue recognition, and forecast-to-actuals alignment.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver rapid, high-quality analysis on pricing, capital allocation, unit economics, and scenario planning as priorities evolve.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA a plus.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years leading FP&A teams, ideally in a B2B SaaS or software company.
  • Deep working knowledge of SaaS business models and metrics, including ARR waterfalls, cohort and retention analysis, and bookings-to-revenue relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing Board and investor reporting; experience in a PE-backed or investor-governed environment is strongly preferred.
  • Hands‑on M&A modeling and diligence experience, including integration planning.
  • Expert‑level financial modeling skills and proficiency with ERP, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, or similar); strong Excel and BI skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders, simplify complex data, and communicate clearly in writing and presentations.
  • Track record of building, coaching, and retaining high‑performing teams.
What Success Looks Like
  • Within 90 days: a documented understanding of the planning process, ARR model, and reporting stack, with quick wins identified and strong relationships built with functional leaders.
  • Within 6 months: a refined forecasting cadence with improved accuracy, and Board and investor reporting delivered on time with a consistent narrative.
  • Within 12 months: a scalable FP&A operating model, a fully trusted SaaS metrics framework, and meaningful contributions to strategic and M&A decisions.
Benefits
  • Flexible work environment
  • Vacation Bonus
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Paid parental leave
  • Competitive pay
  • A full suite of traditional benefits
  • Training/Advancement opportunities
  • 401k with company match and immediate vesting
  • Financial wellness education
  • Company‑contributed HSA
  • On‑site perks include gym, pickleball, snacks & drinks, arcade, theater room, etc.
Our Core Values
  • Disruptive Visionaries: Our customers are the heroes, and our role is to be a guide on their journey, truly listening and identifying the needs and wants of our customers.
