City Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to lead corporate planning and budgeting, aligning finance with long-range R&D plans and capital allocation. You will build and maintain financial models to enable strategic analyses and decision making, partnering with R&D to drive capital optimization and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years heading FP&A in biopharmaceuticals.
• Deep knowledge of CRO/CMO contracts, clinical accruals, and R&D pipelines.
• Experience navigating an IPO or operating in a recently public life sciences environment.
• Expert-level financial modeling and transitioning FP&A to automated forecasting platform.
• Executive presence and ability to explain complex financial outcomes to non-financial leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate annual investment plan and quarterly forecasting processes.
• Manage budget-to-actual variance analyses and explain key cost drivers to leadership.
• Partner with operations to align functional and program plans with the investment plan.
• Maintain visibility into investment plans and performance, with ad-hoc analyses as needed.
• Drive migration from Excel models to a dedicated forecasting platform integrated with ERP.
• Prepare presentations for the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.
