Job summary

SPR Packaging Rockwall, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, seeks an experienced Director of Sales to drive the division's commercial strategy and growth. You will lead the sales team, align pricing, forecasting, and pipeline with operations and finance to deliver profitable customer partnerships.

The role requires 10+ years of B2B sales leadership in packaging or related industries, strong coaching skills, and excellence in negotiation, analytics, and CRM-driven performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience required.
• Experience leading sales teams and developing professionals.
• Strong pricing, forecasting, and pipeline management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, coach, and hold accountable the Flexible Packaging sales team.
• Translate company strategy into clear sales priorities, account coverage, territory responsibilities, and expectations.
• Develop the technical, operational, and commercial capabilities of the sales team through structured training on products, materials, and pricing.
• Maintain and grow core customer relationships while protecting strategically important business.
• Partner with Operations, Scheduling, Estimating, Quality, Finance, and Customer Service to align commitments with production capacity and profitability.
