The Senior Director of Finance and Accounting plays a critical hands-on leadership role, with a strong business-focused mindset. This position is responsible for managing and enhancing the financial and accounting operations of the US organization while also serving as a business partner to both local and global stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. As a business partner, closely work with the business team to develop strategies, optimize costs and mitigate risks, and provide insights that support decision-making and drive business improvement.
2. Responsible for statutory and management reporting (monthly, quarterly, and yearly), consolidation, budgeting, and accounting operations.
3. Oversee P&L, working capital, cash flow, and balance sheet for both management and statutory accounts.
4. Lead the organization's Financial Planning and Analysis function.
5. Manage credit insurance and risk evaluation.
6. Oversee local tax compliance, tax planning, and treasury functions.
7. Drive finance transformation and process improvement to enhance productivity, transparency, and effectiveness.
8. Ensure that US operations adhere to Global Key Operating Guidelines, policies, and procedures.
9. Lead a small Finance team located at multiple locations including New York, Greensboro, NC, and Hong Kong.
10. Collaborate closely with the Group’s global finance organization, including the FNA team at headquarters and shared service team.

Requirements:

1. Solid educational background in Finance and Accounting; a Qualified Accountant is preferred.
2. A minimum of 10 years of progressive and comprehensive accounting experience including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
3. Extensive knowledge of accounting and finance, audit, tax, reporting, budgeting, and FP&A.
4. Hands-on, self-motivated, and has a strong work ethic.
5. Possesses good business acumen and strong analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage various stakeholders.
7. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
8. Proven track record in finance transformation and embracing technology to drive change.
9. A team player with a growth and learning mindset, dedicated to contributing to the broader success of the business.
10. Ideal candidate should have experience working with teams across various locations, including internationally.

Compensation/Benefits:

1. The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $190,000.00 - $205,000.00, which can vary based on role requirements, skill set, and years of experience.
