The SVP, Finance and Accounting will guide our growth and modernize financial systems supporting our high-growth environment. This senior leader will work closely with the executive team and have an equity stake in the company's future.

Role Overview

The SVP will lead global accounting, oversee financial reporting, compliance, tax, internal controls, and systems. Reporting to the CEO, this role includes oversight of the FP&A team to align accounting and strategic financial planning. The SVP will present financial results, key metrics, and risks to the Board, contributing to transparency and strategic decisions.

The incumbent will manage a team of 11 professionals across Colombia, Mexico, and the US, and help shape the culture of the New York office.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Direct all accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, internal controls, and accounts payable.
  2. Oversee month-end close and consolidation for timely, accurate reporting.
  3. Prepare internal and external financial statements.
  4. Define, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
  5. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  6. Manage tax planning and compliance with stakeholders.
  7. Provide financial insights to leadership.
  8. Oversee FP&A activities, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting aligned with strategic goals.
  9. Lead the annual budget process, collaborating with business leaders.
  10. Review forecasts, variance analyses, and financial metrics for decision-making support.
  11. Drive alignment between accounting and FP&A for enterprise-wide financial health.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.
  13. Modernize financial systems and reporting tools.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or accounting.
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Experience in SaaS industry strongly preferred.
  • Experience with national accounting firms valued.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Proven leadership in building and developing accounting teams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Netsuite, Sage.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $200,000 - $325,000, based on experience.
  • Discretionary bonus based on performance.
  • Equity stake included.
