Job summary

The Intrepid Group seeks a Senior Director, Proposal Management to lead our enterprise proposal functions across DoD, IC, and federal government markets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, English, marketing, management, or related field, or equivalent.
• 12+ years of federal proposal development experience, including leading complex proposals.
• At least 5 years supervising proposal professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting DoD, IC, and federal procurements.
• Extensive experience managing full proposal lifecycle from pre-solicitation to submission.
• Experience developing proposal strategies and facilitating formal color-team reviews.
• Experience handling multiple pursuits with tight deadlines and resource needs.
• Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes, solicitation structures, and evaluation criteria.
• Ability to translate complex solutions into clear, persuasive content.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and content collaboration tools.
• Experience with enterprise proposal processes, templates, content libraries, and quality standards.
• Experience supporting international, logistics, facilities, engineering, security, or mission-support programs.
• Expert knowledge of federal proposal development and compliance practices.
• Ability to collaborate with executives, capture, pricing, contracts, and operations.
• Ability to protect sensitive information.
• Must possess Top-Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise proposal management and establish standards for planning, development, review, submission, and post-submission activities.
• Supervise and develop Proposal Managers, Coordinators, Writers, and Graphic Designers.
• Partner with Capture Managers to translate intelligence and strategies into compelling content.
• Develop execution plans addressing schedules, assignments, reviews, and milestones.
• Lead kickoff meetings, stand-ups, strategy sessions, and content reviews.
• Facilitate color-team reviews and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain compliance tools, templates, matrices, schedules, and QA processes.
• Directly manage selected high-priority proposals from pre-solicitation to submission.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to build technical, management, staffing, and past-performance content.
• Integrate proposal development with pricing, legal, contracts, and operations.
• Identify risks and elevate issues needing leadership attention.
• Oversee proposal production, graphics, editing, and delivery.
• Develop libraries, templates, past-performance materials, and content repositories.
• Conduct post-submission reviews and lessons learned.
• Establish and monitor proposal metrics and process improvements.
