Job summary

ACM Global Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Director of Facilities Operations & Construction to lead the management of physical infrastructure and real estate for Rochester, NY, with global SME support.

The role drives training, coaching, and continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory readiness and safety across sites. Responsibilities include capital planning, site drawings, vendor management, and coordinating space planning, construction, and renovations globally.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree and 5+ years’ experience OR 10+ years’ experience in Facility Operations
• 5 years progressive leadership experience
• Experience in project management, including construction and renovation projects preferred
• Knowledge of building infrastructure such as electrical and mechanical elements
• Experience in managing a regulated operation required, clinical laboratory environment preferred
• Experience with computer maintenance management software (CMMS) and work order systems
• AutoCAD experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage resources, priorities and metrics for facilities ops and construction.
• Serve as escalation point and cross-functional collaborator for the department.
• Lead process improvements to optimize operational capabilities.
• Coach and develop facilities and EHS staff; plan onboarding and training.
• Coordinate space planning, construction, renovation, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee audits, regulatory readiness and cleanliness/safety standards.
• Manage asset maintenance, sites drawings and global CAPEX budgets.
