Job summary

ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Engineering in Campbell, CA to lead a high‑performing team that designs complex EV charging solutions for enterprise customers. You will bridge enterprise clients, sales, and product engineering to deliver scalable, market-leading deployments.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of total engineering or technical pre‑sales experience.
• 3–5 years of direct people management or leadership experience at a manager/director level.
• Deep familiarity with EV charging infrastructure and related technical domains.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and protocols such as OCPP and OCPI.
• Ability to translate complex engineering details for executive buyers while maintaining credibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing Solutions Engineers team through complex sales cycles.
• Own technical enablement and solution design across EV charging hardware/software platforms.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to shape product roadmaps.
• Oversee feasibility studies, load-capacity evaluations, and interconnection reviews for large deployments.
• Present to executives, deliver POCs, and respond to RFPs for enterprise customers.
