Job summary
ChargePoint is seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Engineering in Campbell, CA. You will lead a high-performing team to design and deliver large-scale EV charging solutions, bridging enterprise clients, sales, and product engineering.
This leadership role focuses on technical pre-sales, architecture, and strategic execution to accelerate adoption of ChargePoint’s solutions. You will oversee a team, shape deployment strategies for critical markets, and collaborate with executive sales
Qualifications
- 8–12 years engineering or technical pre-sales experience.
- 3–5 years of people-management or leadership experience.
- Deep familiarity with EV charging infrastructure and grid concepts.
- Strong ability to translate technical details for executive buyers.
- Bachelor’s degree in EE, ME, CS or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead and scale Solutions Engineering team, guiding enterprise sales cycles.
- Design complex system architectures for large-scale charging networks.
- Partner with Sales, Product, Firmware/Software Eng, and CS.
- Develop scalable pre-sales playbooks and discovery frameworks.
- Present to executives and respond to RFPs.
