SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead the company’s risk strategy.

This remote role partners with executive leadership to drive enterprise risk management, insurance programs, and strategic risk financing across major solar, storage, and substation projects. The role emphasizes leadership across ERM, risk transfer, and loss prevention, with collaboration across Operations, Preconstruction, Legal, Finance, and Safety to embed risk in project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in enterprise risk management, project risk, construction risk, insurance or operational risk.
• Experience managing large-scale insurance and risk financing programs.
• Experience with captive/self-insurance or large deductible programs preferred.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership and Boards of Directors.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERM framework and report to leadership and the Board.
• Oversee insurance programs including General Liability, Workers' Comp, Auto, Umbrella, Builder's Risk, and Cyber.
• Develop alternative risk financing strategies and captive program feasibility.
• Manage surety bonding strategy and relationships with insurers.
• Oversee claims management and loss reduction initiatives.
• Partner with Legal, Operations, and Safety to align risk transfer with contracts and project delivery.
