Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Risk Management & Construction Risk to lead enterprise risk, insurance programs, and alternative financing. Remote role with exposure to executive leadership and the Board, guiding risk strategy across projects and operations.

Responsibilities include ERM framework, insurance renewals, captive strategies, and loss prevention, partnering with Legal, Operations, Safety, and Finance to integrate risk into decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Significant experience managing large-scale insurance and risk financing programs.
• Experience with captive/self-insurance structures preferred.
• Proven track record with risk management leadership at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise risk management framework and reporting to executive leadership and Board.
• Oversee insurance programs including liability, workers' comp, cyber, and property.
• Develop alternative risk financing, TCOR models, and captives; manage governance.
• Partner with Legal, Operations, Safety, and Finance to align risk with strategy.
• Mentor risk team and build succession planning; drive proactive risk culture.
