Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls to provide enterprise leadership for our project controls function across a large, complex portfolio. This role will establish governance, systems, analytics, and talent to deliver projects safely, profitably, and predictably.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
15+ years of related experience.
PMP or PgM certification preferred.
Experience with integrated design-build and alternative delivery models.
Proven leadership in enterprise project controls.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Willingness to travel 50%+

Responsibilities

Define enterprise project controls strategy, standards, methodologies, and governance.
Lead integration of design-build, CMAR, and other delivery models with cost, schedule, risk, and commercial controls.
Strengthen budgeting, earned value management, forecasting, variance analysis, and scheduling.
Develop dashboards and executive insights for margin, backlog, cash flow, and delivery risk.
Champion digital transformation of project controls platforms, data, and workflows.
Establish scalable document management, records, and data quality standards.
Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve project profitability.
Develop talent and build a strong enterprise project controls community.
