Job summary

Maze Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Senior Director of Technology to lead strategy, operations, and security of the enterprise IT environment from its South San Francisco headquarters. The role requires onsite presence at least three days per week and collaboration across Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, HR, and Research.

The leader will drive MSP partnerships, modernize employee technology, strengthen cybersecurity, and advance AI and automation

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in technology leadership.
• Experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or a highly regulated environment; clinical-stage and public-company experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise IT in a cloud-first, SaaS-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maze’s enterprise IT strategy and roadmap aligned with growth, security, and compliance.
• Oversee delivery of IT services including Microsoft 365, IAM, endpoints, networking, and cloud services.
• Evolve the IT operating model with MSPs and partners while maintaining ownership of strategy and risk.
• Partner with business units to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions, AI governance, and automation.
