Job summary

Jewish Federation of Cleveland seeks a seasoned Managing Director, Enterprise Applications to shape technology strategy and lead a portfolio of systems including Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, and data platforms. You will partner with business leaders to align IT with global fundraising and operations, while directing architecture, governance, and lifecycle management.

The role requires strong leadership, stellar communication, and a track record of delivering complex, enterprise-wide initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Master's degree (MBA, MIS, or related discipline) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in technology management roles.
• Minimum 5 years leading cross-functional technology teams supporting enterprise-scale business systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale enterprise systems, upgrades, migrations, consolidations, and business process improvement initiatives involving ERP, CRM, HRIS, marketing, and data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience inheriting, leading, and improving established enterprise application teams while driving accountability, performance improvement, and operational maturity.
• Experience in project management and execution, including managing budgets, vendors, and timelines and overseeing complex project plans.
• Experience within nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise applications roadmap and strategy with CIO.
• Collaborate with Finance, Development, Marketing, Donor Services, and HR.
• Manage release planning and user adoption across business units.
• Oversee integration, data governance, and architecture reviews for systems.
• Govern enterprise applications, investments, and vendor relationships.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing IT team and partner ecosystem.
