Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company in Hartford, CT is seeking a Sr. Director, Engineering and Operations Effectiveness to lead EXO’s engineering transformation and technology operations across BI Technology.

You will drive end-to-end demand management, vendor contracts, and a unified engagement model with strategic partners and delivery leads. This role requires strong delivery leadership, AI-aware decision making, and the ability to set standards for execution, staffing, and metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; 9+ years in technology or business roles.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience leading large-scale delivery and agile at scale is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own EXO's Unified Engagement Model across core stakeholders and portfolio.
• Own end-to-end demand from intake to implementation and readiness.
• Manage EXO vendor and technology contracts; drive cost reductions.
• Build and lead delivery center of excellence with repeatable playbooks.
• Define EXO metrics and reporting to inform leadership decisions.
• Lead the Delivery Lead team and coach performance and development.
