Job summary

Mars Veterinary Health (MVH) is seeking a Sr. Director of Digital Strategy, Governance & Transformation to partner with the CDIO and Head of Transformation.

The role builds strategy, governance, and performance across MVH’s digital/data portfolio, aligning business outcomes with technology investments and platform development. Hybrid leadership combines program management with strategic vision for 2–3 years out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field is required.
• MBA or equivalent is preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in digital strategy, portfolio management, or enterprise governance in a complex, multi-brand environment.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing cross-functional technology teams.
• Proven track record of leading transformation programs and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Deep understanding of digital products, platforms, data ecosystems, and enterprise technology.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget planning and performance tracking.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across C-level and cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within large, matrixed organizations or global corporate groups (experience with Mars is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve MVH’s group-wide digital and data strategy in partnership with executive leadership.
• Oversee end-to-end portfolio governance, including demand intake, scoping and prioritization of digital/data investments.
• Stay attuned to external industry and market trends to inform strategy development.
• Align technology strategy with clinical, operational, and business goals across MVH’s global portfolio.
• Oversee the full product and platform portfolio, ensuring value and cost delivery and governance discipline.
• Drive strategic alignment across multiple product teams and technology domains.
• Establish strong financial and value-based rigor across digital, data and transformation initiatives.
• Own value tracking and benefits realization.
• Oversee Transform and Run budget creation and financial governance.
• Lead third-party relationships and sourcing models to support the roadmap.
• Lead change management strategy and execution with cross-functional engagement.
• Represent MVH in cross-entity forums and governance bodies.
