AbelsonTaylor Group seeks a Senior Director of Performance Media to lead the agency's performance media practice, overseeing Paid Search, Programmatic Display and Video, Paid Social, and emerging channels. You will shape strategy, standards, and best practices, collaborating with strategy and creative teams to deliver measurable activation aligned with client goals.

The role requires 10+ years in digital media with strong leadership, preferred healthcare/pharma experience, and deep platform

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in digital or performance media with leadership responsibility.
• Healthcare/pharma media experience preferred, including regulated brands.
• Strong expertise in performance media strategy, activation, optimization, measurement and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the agency performance media practice across Paid Search, Programmatic Display and Video, Paid Social, and emerging channels.
• Set strategic direction, channel standards, and best practices for activation.
• Partner with Media Strategy to develop channel recommendations aligned with client strategy and objectives.
• Guide testing, optimization, and platform adoption across the portfolio.
• Serve as senior escalation point for activation, platform, measurement, and performance challenges.
• Present strategic recommendations in client meetings and annual planning.
• Translate complex data topics into clear, actionable client recommendations.
• Support new business, growth, and thought leadership.
• Mentor and develop senior team members and balance workloads.
