AbelsonTaylor Group in Chicago is seeking a Senior Director of Performance Media to guide strategy, execution, and optimization across Paid Search, Programmatic, and Paid Social channels. This leadership role drives growth, quality, and operational excellence while aligning media with client business objectives.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, mentor senior staff, and contribute to new business and thought leadership efforts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of digital or performance media experience with leadership responsibility.
• Expertise in performance media strategy, activation, optimization, measurement, and analytics.
• Experience leading client relationships and presenting strategic recommendations to executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the agency performance media practice across Paid Search, Programmatic Display and Video, Paid Social, and emerging channels.
• Set strategic direction, standards, and best practices for activation and measurement.
• Partner with Media Strategy to align recommendations with client strategy and objectives.
• Guide testing, optimization, and platform adoption across the portfolio.
• Serve as senior escalation point for activation, platform, and measurement challenges.
• Engage in client meetings, presentations, and annual planning to drive growth and thought leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver connected media programs.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and revenue projections, ensuring operational excellence.
