Job summary

Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, seeks an Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations to lead fundraising strategy and donor engagement. This role focuses on advancing the school’s priorities, building private philanthropy, and coordinating with corporate partners and volunteers in support of global health initiatives.

The role reports to the Dean and collaborates across BSPH leadership, DAR, and Johns Hopkins Medicine to drive a $75M+ annual philanthropy

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible development leadership experience.
• 10+ years of direct fundraising experience, with seven- and eight-figure gifts.
• 10+ years of supervision, including leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy and donor engagement for BSPH.
• Build revenue strategies including corporate relations and partnerships.
• Oversee development and alumni relations teams, boards and volunteers.
• Partner with the Dean to align fundraising with BSPH priorities and strategic plan.
• Travel domestically and internationally to cultivate high-potential donors.
