Qualifications

  • Two years of related experience required.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM for reporting, pipeline tracking, and donor strategy.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in higher education fundraising preferred.
  • Experience working with alumni populations and volunteer engagement preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual fundraising work plans with specific goals, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Identify and qualify donors; implement donor engagement strategies.
  • Identify and qualify new prospects.
  • Manage engagement strategies for an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects.
  • Create communication and engagement plans for the portfolio.
  • Utilize calls, visits, virtual engagement, and email to cultivate donors.
  • Document activities in the CRM for research and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with development colleagues, faculty, and staff across the institution.
  • Conduct targeted visits to qualify prospects, solicit gifts, and steward donors.
  • Prepare gift proposals and solicitation materials.
  • Evaluate the program and adjust approaches with leadership.
  • Execute special projects to advance fundraising efforts.
