Job summary

Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health seeks an Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations to lead comprehensive fundraising and alumni engagement. The role supports BSPH priorities with domestic and international travel, reporting to University leadership, and coordinating with central external affairs to maximize donor impact.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree required.
15+ years progressively responsible development leadership experience.
10+ years of direct fundraising experience including seven- and eight-figure gifts.
10 years of supervisory experience, including managing leaders of teams.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead philanthropic fundraising strategies for BSPH priorities from individuals, alumni, corporations, nonprofits, and foundations.
Build revenue strategies and identify opportunities for corporate funding growth.
Define and lead an alumni relations strategy engaging worldwide alumni network.
Oversee boards and committees, including Health Advisory Board, leveraging donors and partners.
Drive diversification and growth of philanthropic revenue and donor engagement for the campaign.
