The position requires a master’s degree with substantial fundraising experience or a bachelor’s with broader experience, plus a valid driver’s license, and offers a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

Master's degree in appropriate area of specialization with six years of experience or bachelor's degree with eight years of experience.
Valid driver's license required.
Preferred: five to eight years of major gift fundraising experience with gifts of $500,000 and above.

Responsibilities

Identify and cultivate major gift prospects with gifts of $500,000 and above.
Build and manage fundraising portfolio and close major gifts.
Develop major gift proposals aligned with UF Advancement priorities.
Lead and develop a team of development professionals.
Plan budgets and manage staff using talent management best practices.
Collaborate with the Dean's Advisory Board and executives to identify priorities.
Assist with fundraising plans, policies, and donor priorities, and implement development programs.
Plan and coordinate volunteer recruitment and recognition.
Willingness to travel as needed.
