Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 17+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, including 8+ years leading large teams.
• Deep understanding of data center operations across compute, storage, networking, and facilities.
• Experience in second-level service management (incident/problem management, SLA ownership).
• Strong knowledge of cloud use cases and large CSP deployments.
• Excellent communication and leadership to drive cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the product and service strategy for Data Center Solutions, focusing on second-level service management and post-deployment success.
• Lead engagement with customers on data center operations requirements including availability and SLAs.
• Partner with sales, marketing, service, and engineering in pre-sales discussions and workshops.
• Represent Supermicro to CSP, NCP, and cloud customers with a view on live data center operations.
• Define and refine product and service specs; drive engineering to meet operational expectations.
• Lead research and analysis of data center tech and customer operating models to shape roadmap.
• Define business and service strategies and align cross-functional work accordingly.
• Build and mentor teams capable of operating in fast-changing data center and cloud environments.
• Drive process improvements across product management and second-level service management.
