Job summary

Quest Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Director, Procurement for a global owner/operator of hyperscale data centers. This role leads procurement strategy across a growing portfolio of mission-critical construction projects, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on detail.

You will build scalable procurement processes, govern supplier performance, and partner with Construction, Engineering, Operations, and Legal to ensure schedules and CAPEX align with Ready for Service dates.

Qualifications

• Experience leading procurement for data center construction.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Ability to build scalable procurement processes.
• Experience managing OFCI and long-lead equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for General Contractors, OFCI equipment, and major data center construction packages
• Lead sourcing, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract development
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with General Contractors, OEMs, equipment manufacturers, and other key suppliers
• Develop procurement processes, governance, workflows, and standards to support continued growth
• Partner closely with Construction, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Legal
• Ensure procurement activities are aligned with project schedules, CAPEX budgets, and Ready for Service dates
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, business reviews, and ongoing performance management
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks including long-lead equipment, supplier capacity, cost escalation, and schedule constraints
• Support development of a scalable and resilient supplier network across multiple markets
• Lead, coach, and develop members of the procurement team
