Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking an outstanding Sr. Director to lead Data Center End-to-End Portfolio & Project Controls for the Shackleford County Data Center Campus.

The role oversees a multi-year capital program totaling approximately $29 billion, and a workforce of thousands across internal teams, vendor partners, and construction crews. The incumbent will drive portfolio forecasting, project controls, operational analytics, supply chain coordination, manufacturing readiness, and TPM

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end portfolio and project controls for large capital programs.
• Proven ability to manage multi-vendor contracts and external partners.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management across internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Directs and mentors construction project teams, aligning projects with strategic vision.
• Directs creation, review, and maintenance of documentation (design review, commissioning, problem-solving papers).
• Provides executive oversight of quality control processes to meet design specs and industry standards.
• Directs high-level site walks and leads startup and commissioning phases of major data center projects.
• Addresses gaps in risk identification and mitigation and informs the board of potential impacts.
• Provides executive oversight as the primary contact between the company and colocation providers.
• Directs the strategic selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring contract compliance.
• Directs the installation of power, cooling, networking, and structured cabling systems.
