Job summary

Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure division seeks a Senior Director of Data Center Operations to lead a major North America site in Shackleford, Texas. You will own the operating model, deploy scalable systems, and drive production operations at scale.

You will build and lead a ~250-person organization, partnering with engineering, infrastructure, supply chain, and capacity planning to enable rapid growth while maintaining reliability and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale data center operations in cloud/infrastructure.
• Proven ability to design scalable operating models and processes.
• Strong systems/software mindset with automation, tooling, and data usage to drive performance.
• Demonstrated ability to scale organizations without proportional headcount growth.
• Experience building repeatable operating mechanisms across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead large-scale data center operations across one of Oracle's North America sites.
• Build operating model, systems, and organizational capabilities for a large footprint.
• Create scalable operations through automation, processes, tooling and data-driven decisions.
• Establish mechanisms to improve throughput, productivity, quality, reliability and speed.
• Oversee hardware deployment, break/fix, GPU rack deployment and inventory management.
• Drive NPI process strategy for new infrastructure products and deployment models.
• Establish spare parts and inventory capabilities to balance availability and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, construction, capacity planning and other teams.
• Develop leadership bench and organizational capabilities to support Oracle's growth.
