Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience devising and implementing cultivation and solicitation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in data entry, data management and reporting.
• Ability to motivate, engage, influence and work collaboratively with diverse audiences.
• Strong management skills and proven ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the MGB Cancer Institute.
• Personally manage a high-value portfolio and oversee assignments for team members.
• Provide active management, mentorship and leadership to direct reports.
• Engage stakeholders across divisions and leadership to build funding opportunities.
• Ensure compliance and maintain accurate donor records; travel as needed.
• Contribute to professional development and participate in recruiting and onboarding.
