Job summary

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services firm, is seeking a Director of Construction Management to lead and develop a team of Project Managers delivering project management services on major programs. The role emphasizes service excellence, client engagement, and market growth across sectors including real estate and data centers.

The successful candidate will drive strategy, oversee risk and quality control, and mentor staff to sustain growth and high performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
Graduate degree in CM/architecture/engineering preferred.
12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
2+ years leading large multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
Proven track record delivering project management services to clients.
Strong business development ambition and ability to grow the business.
Experience in major construction sectors (real estate, data centers, life sciences, etc.).
Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Project Managers delivering project management services on major projects and programs.
Oversee client communications and project management team services.
Research construction market conditions and publish thought leadership reports.
Develop strategic and operational management plans for Project Management Services.
Set the team strategy in line with the business plan; drive growth and market outreach.
Mentor staff and promote learning, inclusivity, and career progression.
