Trading Technologies is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development for the Compliance & Trade Surveillance business line in Chicago. This senior role ties together sales, product, and customer support to drive a unified commercial strategy.

You will lead pre-sale strategy, coordinate with regional teams, and act as a domain expert on capital markets regulation. You will represent TT at industry events, shape the thought leadership agenda, and help scale the business line through effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in capital markets, with deep expertise in trade surveillance or regulation.
• Proven track record in business development, pre-sales, or sales within fintech.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and external representation experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sale strategy and execution for Compliance & Trade Surveillance with regional sales teams.
• Participate in deal teams, providing regulatory and product expertise in meetings and RFPs.
• Develop client-specific demonstrations, presentations, and proposals with sales.
• Coach sales teams on capital markets regulation, use cases, and competitive positioning.
• Represent TT at conferences, panels, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Track regulatory developments (MiFID II, MAR, Dodd-Frank) and translate to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with legal/compliance/engineering/marketing to align client commitments and roadmap.
