Great Plains Tribal Health seeks a Director of Community Behavioral Health Programs to lead planning, development, implementation, and oversight of all community behavioral health services. The role drives culturally responsive, trauma-informed care and partners with tribal leaders, federal agencies, and communities to reduce disparities.

The Director will oversee grants, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise staff to maximize impact and program effectiveness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or related field.
• At least three years of grant management and administrative experience involving multiple federal/private grants.
• Minimum of three years in progressive management and supervisory work.

Responsabilités

• Plans, directs, and evaluates all community behavioral health programs and services.
• Builds and maintains partnerships with tribal nations, community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and government agencies.
• Ensures departmental compliance with federal, state, tribal, and organizational standards.
• Identifies funding opportunities, writes and submits grant applications, and manages grant implementation.
• Oversees crisis intervention protocols and staff training.
• Recruits, trains, mentors, and retains a skilled behavioral health workforce.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive behavioral health strategy.
