Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Five years’ experience in the field.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to travel between Iowa and Nebraska service locations.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic program leadership aligned with Heartland Family Service mission and CCBHC principles.
• Lead and supervise cross-program teams including Care Team Specialists and Community Support staff.
• Drive integration with the CCBHC framework and ensure trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practices.
• Facilitate cross-program collaboration to support integrated care planning and transitions of care.
• Develop and sustain community partnerships to expand service access.
• Streamline operations across Iowa and Nebraska, aligning workflows and training.
• Enhance client engagement and access, reducing barriers to care.
• Use data to inform decisions on team performance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote staff development and wellbeing through supervision and training.
• Support grant and contract compliance and reporting.
• Advance innovation in behavioral health and community-based programming.
