Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking a strategic Senior Director, Commercial & Ancillary Services to drive financial management, leasing strategy, and revenue optimization across an extensive multifamily portfolio. You will partner with Accounting, Property Operations, and Asset Management to translate data into actionable insights and guide portfolio performance.

The role requires strong budgeting, forecasting, and leadership skills, with a track record in commercial real estate and ancillary revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Significant experience in financial planning/analysis, commercial real estate, property operations, or related disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PivotTables, financial modeling, and data analysis; Power BI.
• Experience translating financial data into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaborative decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute leasing strategies to maximize asset revenue and maintain strong tenant mix.
• Lead annual budgets, monthly forecasts, variance analyses, and long-range financial plans for commercial/ancillary revenue programs.
• Prepare executive reporting on commercial rent, parking, and ancillary revenues for leadership.
• Monitor performance, identify trends/risks, and drive initiatives to improve financial results.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with Accounting, Property Operations, and Asset Management.
