Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals in the United States seeks a Senior Director, Commercial Advanced Analytics to lead business‑driven AI initiatives, translate commercial needs into scalable analytics solutions, and partner with the enterprise AI team to embed capabilities in workflows.

You will own the analytics roadmap, oversee cross‑functional collaboration with Commercial, Medical, IT, and data teams, drive adoption, and deliver measurable improvements in insight, engagement, and decision‑making

Qualifications

• 15+ years in pharmaceutical or biotech commercial analytics.
• Fluency with core commercial data assets (CRM/Veeva, IQVIA, Symphony, claims, consent data).
• Experience deploying ML/AI tools in production workflows.
• Leadership experience building analytics teams.
• Hands-on Python and SQL; cloud data and ML platforms experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the roadmap of commercial advanced analytics and AI use cases with Commercial leadership.
• Own the advanced analytics roadmap and integrate next-best-action / omni‑channel strategies.
• Prioritize the analytics pipeline aligned to governance processes.
• Define business, data, and success requirements; collaborate on deployment and optimization.
• Provide validation during enterprise tests and feed requirements back to the AI team.
• Own day‑to‑day analytics operations and translate results into business insights.
• Develop requirements for semantic layer enhancements enabling self‑service and NLP queries.
• Translate business needs into analytics solutions and represent requirements in vendor evaluations.
