Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Development to lead CNS programs from development through lifecycle management. You will provide scientific and medical leadership across clinical development, guiding strategy, study execution, and regulatory interactions.

You will partner with investigators, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional teams to drive successful CNS therapies. This role requires an MD/MD-PhD, 5+ years in industry, and CNS clinical research experience, with

Qualifications

• MD/MD-PhD or equivalent medical degree required; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry or Neurology.
• Minimum 5+ years’ applicable industry across several development phases.
• CNS clinical research experience with development plan and study execution.
• Established relationships with thought leaders in neurodegenerative/psychiatric disorders.
• Ability to work in geographically diverse teams and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute global clinical development plans aligned with strategy.
• Oversee planning, monitoring, data analysis and reporting of studies.
• Interact with investigators, centers of excellence and regulatory bodies.
• Communicate program issues and results to stakeholders.
• Support regulatory submissions and lifecycle management.
