Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Cloud and Infrastructure Platforms, directing architecture across cloud, data center, networking, database, and compute domains for a hybrid environment.

You will drive the target-state architecture, standards, migration patterns, and modernization roadmap while collaborating with executive leadership, cybersecurity, and vendor partners to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, or enterprise infrastructure leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise reference architecture for cloud platform, networking, database, and compute services and define target-state for hybrid infrastructure.
• Lead architecture and migration strategy for on-premises to cloud transitions, including migration wave design and cutover architecture.
• Serve as senior design authority for enterprise compute, including virtualization, OS strategy, performance engineering, and high-availability patterns.
• Define enterprise networking standards across WAN/LAN/wireless/cloud/data center with security integration and resilience.
• Provide architectural ownership for Azure and related Microsoft tenant services with policy enforcement and governance.
• Establish database architecture standards for Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure database platforms including DR and modernization.
• Define infrastructure as code standards, automation pipelines, and platform deployment repeatability.
• Lead vulnerability management, patch engineering, and OS currency programs across all compute assets.
