Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Development to guide strategic clinical development across trials and indications. You will integrate inputs from research, regulatory, and commercial teams and ensure CDPs meet GCP standards while coordinating CROs and vendors.

The role requires an MD with at least five years in clinical drug development, leadership in multi-country programs, and strong communication to external stakeholders, including KOLs and regulators.

Qualifications

• MD degree and a minimum of 5 years of clinical drug development experience in pharma/biotech.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leading a large, multi-country clinical development program.
• Strong knowledge of early- and late-phase drug development and regulatory processes.
• Experience developing regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead global clinical development strategy for assigned indications/areas.
• Design CDPs and ensure alignment with clinical, regulatory and commercial objectives.
• Manage external partners and monitor program budgets for timely CDP execution.
• Medically responsible for clinical studies and interpretation of results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across research, manufacturing, regulatory and quality.
