Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Senior Director, Clinical Development to shape and oversee global clinical development across indications.

You will design CDPs, align with regulatory expectations, and lead cross-functional teams to meet scientific and commercial goals. The role requires an MD with 5+ years in clinical drug development, strong leadership, and ability to manage multi-country programs, CRO relationships, and internal/stakeholder communication; occasional international travel

Qualifications

MD degree and a minimum of 5 years of clinical drug development experience.
Experience leading large, multi-country clinical development programs.
Experience with regulatory submissions and regulatory processes.
Ability to influence without direct authority.
Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead global clinical development strategy for assigned indications.
Design CDPs and ensure regulatory alignment and feasibility.
Manage relationships with CROs, vendors, and partners; monitor budgets and contracts.
Medically responsible for clinical studies and analyses of results.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to GCP and high scientific/ethical standards.
