Job summary

PTC Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Development to guide clinical development across phases. This role collaborates with R&D leadership to align CDPs with clinical, regulatory, and commercial goals, and to ensure trials meet GCP standards.

The position requires MD credentials with at least five years in clinical drug development, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external partners, and travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• MD degree and a minimum of 5 years of clinical drug development experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience leading a large, multi-country, clinical development program.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct PTC’s global clinical development strategy for assigned indications or therapeutic areas.
• Oversee CDP design to demonstrate clinical/medical benefits and achieve development objectives.
• Manage relationships with CROs, vendors, and collaborators and monitor budgets.
