BNY is seeking a collegial, highly skilled Senior Director, Senior Managing Counsel to support the Clearance & Collateral Management (CCM) business in New York. You will balance high-volume BAU with strategic initiatives at the intersection of law, regulation, and market infrastructure, including digital assets and AI-enabled workflows.

As a trusted advisor, you’ll collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Product teams, draft and negotiate complex docs, and help shape

Qualificações

• J.D. licensed to practice in New York.
• 12+ years of experience at a law firm and/or large financial institution.
• Experience with tri-party collateral, clearance, and market docs.
• Knowledge of ISDA Master Agreements, MSLA, CSAs, and related docs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to CCM product area.
• Serve as advisor on strategic transactions and regulatory initiatives.
• Draft, negotiate, and update complex documentation.
• Support digital assets, tokenization, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Credit, Risk, and Operations.
• Monitor developments and participate in industry groups.
