Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Digital Asset Advisory Compliance Officer to join U.S. Bank Compliance in New York.

You will shape the digital assets business by navigating emerging regulations, partnering with legal and risk teams, and building a compliant framework that supports innovation and regulatory integrity. In this Executive Director level role, you will lead regulatory monitoring, develop policies, and coordinate with divisions to ensure effective risk controls.

Qualifications

• Experience and strong interest in the developing U.S. digital assets industry.
• Experience documenting OCC permissibility and safety & soundness considerations related to digital assets.
• Experience with OCC digital asset letter interpretations.
• Experience with custody design under 12 CFR Part 9 and OCC Custody Handbook.
• Experience with escalation/reporting practices aligned with OCC Heightened Standards.
• Experience with cybersecurity and risk management frameworks (NIST/ISO).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior compliance and operational risk coverage officer for the U.S. Banks digital asset business.
• Follow regulatory rulemaking and advise business lines on the evolving U.S. digital assets environment.
• Develop and implement compliance and risk policies, procedures, monitoring, testing and training.
• Interact with Morgan Stanley business lines and coordinate across divisions on digital asset initiatives.
• Assist with other traditional compliance activities related to the digital assets business.
