Job summary

Sysco Specialty Meat Group seeks a Category and Assortment Director to drive enterprise-wide category and assortment strategies. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college/university or equivalent combination of education/experience in lieu of a degree sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and assortment strategic plans and objectives supporting SSMG’s transformational objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams to build category assortments for national/regional and local markets.
• Create unbiased performance metrics to assess category strategy effectiveness.
• Collaborate with USBL partners on assortment stocking optimization using data and insights.
• Manage multiple projects and initiatives with strong leadership oversight.
