Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a Category and Assortment Director for Sysco Specialty Meat Group to set enterprise-wide category strategies and optimize customer-facing assortments across national, regional, and local levels.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop analytical tools, and drive KPIs that align with sales, supply chain, digital, and revenue management while guiding large-scale Transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years leadership in category management or merchandising analytics.
• Experience driving large-scale enterprise category strategies.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Travel 10–20% as needed.
• Remote work environment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and assortment plans at national and regional levels.
• Lead cross-functional teams across sales, supply chain, digital, and operations.
• Establish KPIs to align assortment with Sysco goals.
• Oversee SKU rationalization, data attribution, and image management.
• Collaborate with USBL partners on assortment stocking optimization.
• Drive change management to implement strategic plans.
