Job summary

Minnesota State College Southeast seeks a Director of Business Services, Accounting Supervisor Principal to lead the Southeast’s business office and bookstore operations. You will supervise accounting activities, ensure compliance with GAAP, and manage Workday and banking processes.

The role includes budget development, staff training, and collaboration with auditors, while ensuring accurate financial data and internal controls across college funds and procurement.

Qualifications

• GAAP knowledge sufficient to analyze and prepare financial information.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Access for reports and ad hoc analysis.
• Experience with accounting in public or complex environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting services for college funds and bookstore staff.
• Manage banking, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable and procurement.
• Lead Workday hierarchy, ISRS security, and SWIFT access for staff; support budget processes.
