Job summary

On Location is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development (Amplify) to drive growth across production, experience design, and hospitality. You will shape opportunities, lead executive conversations, and build trusted client partnerships with major rights holders and brands.

You will coordinate with Strategy, Creative, Production, and Operations to deliver impactful solutions that align with client objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a management or senior business development role with 15+ years in experiential, sports, entertainment, travel, hospitality or live events.
• Proven track record leading RFPs, proposals, and high level pitches for corporate clients.
• Strong ability to build senior client relationships and manage complex accounts.
• Excellent strategic thinking, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
• Experience collaborating with Strategy, Creative, Production, and Operations teams to deliver client value.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Airtable, and MS Office tools for proposals and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow Amplify’s production, creative, experiential, hospitality, and delivery business.
• Lead discovery meetings, client briefings, site visits, and executive presentations with senior clients.
• Own the commercial narrative of proposals, ensuring client insight translates into actionable solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to create compelling, executable client solutions.
• Handoff wins to Delivery teams with clear scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Maintain and grow a strong client pipeline and trusted advisor relationships.
