Job summary

Communities In Schools of Central Texas seeks a Senior Director of Annual Giving and Development Operations to lead donor engagement, annual philanthropy, campaigns, and development operations from its Austin headquarters.

You will partner with the Chief Development Officer, supervise staff, and drive strategies that grow revenue, strengthen donor relationships, and ensure efficient, data-driven fundraising across programs and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible nonprofit fundraising experience, including management responsibility.
• Demonstrated success leading annual fundraising, donor engagement, campaigns, events, or related revenue-generating initiatives.
• Strong fundraising acumen across annual giving, donor stewardship and engagement, fundraising events, and donor communications.
• Experience managing and developing staff while remaining actively engaged in execution.
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to support fundraising strategy, donor segmentation, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze fundraising data, identify trends and opportunities, and translate insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy for annual philanthropy, donor engagement, and revenue growth.
• Oversee donor stewardship, engagement initiatives, and signature events.
• Manage and optimize development operations, data, budgets, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Communications to produce donor-facing fundraising content.
• Provide leadership to the Development team and align priorities with organizational goals.
